These double banana &#8216;donuts&#8217; were so tasty in my mout-h, but they&#8217;re a bit fussy. So, when a craving for warm banana hit at about 10 the other night, I searched for something quick and easy. <\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-Fj2IjNdIpf8\/TZtaoEJv55I\/AAAAAAAAAcs\/HWmNg8nI6FE\/s1600\/photo%252822%2529.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-Fj2IjNdIpf8\/TZtaoEJv55I\/AAAAAAAAAcs\/HWmNg8nI6FE\/s320\/photo%252822%2529.jpg\" width=\"320\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fatfreevegan.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/19\/slow-cooker-banana-pudding-oatmeal-another-southern-dessert-for-breakfast\/\">Healthy Slow Cooker<\/a> had a recipe for Banana Pudding Oatmeal, but who has time to crock pot it so late at night? Not me.<\/p>\n<p>So I altered the recipe for a fun dessert\/snack and went from there.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-_NRVP4wbtxA\/TaIDsHeMGFI\/AAAAAAAAAdo\/mX6aRBS7GBo\/s1600\/photo-129.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-_NRVP4wbtxA\/TaIDsHeMGFI\/AAAAAAAAAdo\/mX6aRBS7GBo\/s320\/photo-129.jpg\" width=\"320\"><\/a><b><span>Banana Pie Oatmeal<\/span><\/b><br \/>1 ripe banana, slice into bite-sized rounds<br \/>1\/3 cup oats<br \/>2\/3 cup milk (i used unsweetened vanilla soymilk)<br \/>1\/2 t. vanilla extract<br \/>Dash of cinnamon<br \/>1 t. agave syrup (to taste)<br \/>1 TB sweetened shredded coconut<br \/>1 TB choc. chips (optional)<\/p>\n<p><i>Making it happen:<\/i><br \/>1. Literally, stir everything together in a coffee cup or pot.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-DXsWSh4OqHo\/TaIDwKUGKnI\/AAAAAAAAAds\/W1oJTKPBs5s\/s1600\/photo-131.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-DXsWSh4OqHo\/TaIDwKUGKnI\/AAAAAAAAAds\/W1oJTKPBs5s\/s320\/photo-131.jpg\" width=\"320\"><\/a>2. On the stovetop, cook for 5-7 minutes or until oats are large and cooked. In the microwave, heat for 2-4 minutes, watching carefully (milk tends to make oats spill over!).<br \/>3. Once heated, allow to cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle more coconut or chocolate chips on top for fun. The bananas will be warm and gooey.
